Developmental Disabilities Waiver Services

Companion

Our Companion Services provide friendly interaction and This service supports the social and emotional wellbeing of our customers in the home or in the community. This includes support with meal preparation, errands, appointments, and light housekeeping..

Personal Supports

This service assists customers with personal hygiene, self-care activities, and daily living skills.

This may include but is not limited to meal preparation, feeding, bathing, dressing, bed making, and vacuuming, when these activities are essential to the health, safety, and welfare of the customer and no one else is available to perform them.

Respite Care

This service provides supportive care and supervision to a customer when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties due to a planned brief absence, an emergency absence, or when the caregiver is available but temporarily physically unable to care for or supervise the customer for a brief period.

This service will provided in the individual’s home or family home.

Supported Employment

This services provides training and assistance in a variety of activities to support customers with developmental disabilities in sustaining paid employment at or above minimum wage unless the client is operating a small business.

Supported Living

This services may include assistance with locating appropriate housing; the acquisition, retention or improvement of skills daily living such as personal hygiene and grooming; household chores; meal preparation; shopping; personal finances; and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable customers to reside on their own.

Homemaker & Companion Services

Homemaker & Companion Service employ individuals to perform housekeeping, cooking, running errands, and providing companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities. We offer essential support that helps elderly and disabled individuals stay in their homes for as long as they desire and are able to. This assistance helps prevent the isolation often felt by seniors living alone.

Companion Services

Our Companion Services provide friendly interaction and companionship, whether it’s through engaging in conversation, running errands, playing games, or watching TV together. Companions encourage participation in peer-related activities like card games, bingo, or crafting to promote brain fitness and are always happy to engage in reminiscing.

Homemaker Services

In-Home Services

Florida Medicaid home health visits provide medically necessary skilled nursing and home health aide services to recipients whose medical condition, illness, or injury requires the care to be delivered in their home or in the community. For more details, refer to section 1.1 of the HHV Coverage Policy.
